What Do Students Want To Learn

Try It

Give students a week to communicate to the school’s administration and faculty what they’re interested in learning. Then, have small teams of students review suggestions, organize and distill them, and propose ways for students to follow through and learn about what they’re interested in (note, it’s important to encourage them to find students or outside professionals to play a lead role in these sessions).

Discuss It

In person or online, dive into these essential questions:

  • How did your students respond to the challenge?
  • What surprised you about their suggestions?
  • Can you support their recommendations for how to take this forward?
